After upgrading to iPadOS and first hitting the issue of WiFi not working on my iPad Air 2, I’ve managed to put in place a workaround by using a combination of Open WiFi, MAC filtering and a hidden SSID in order to hopefully keep out unwanted intruders.
Now though, I am facing the issue of signing into my Apple ID account on my iPad. I wonder whether iPadOS simply doesn’t like passwords full stop!
I am having all the same problems too. @apple are you gonna help us here?
Good to know. Apple should come out with a fix since it seems the 13.1.1 update is affecting Apple ID settings in the iPad Air 2.
Removing and adding back fingerprint also fixed recurring Update Apple ID settings for me! On iPad mini 5.
Also, had to reset FaceID on iPhone to stop the same issue from looping there. Again, fixed once security was reset.
Tried everything mentioned on forums. Tried to reinstall previous version from itunes, but can't connect due to failing verification. Anyone found the solution?
Not only can’t I get WiFi, but it will not accept Apple ID. Gets unknown error. This prevents me from using the iTunes restore for some reason.
