Can't share audio in pair of airpods, ios 13

Ok i fixed it.

Here's the deal. Sharing won't work when we have both the airpods connected via bluetooth to the same device. Just connect one device via bluetooth. forget the other device, then open airplay from control center and go to sharing and connect the other device from there. Hooray it works then

You have to have iOS 13.1.

it seems to work when both the airpods are of the same version, but it's not working when one is airpod 1 and the other is airpod 2

Same thing is happening with me. I cant't work it out
