Feature Request: Add WebDav and afp server support to new iPad OS

I have many servers i like to use for storage many of them are samba. The new iPad OS update added support for samba server compatibility in the files app. I would like to see webdav support or at least apple filing protocol because it is their own service. Webdav and ftp would be great for website editing and internet file storage.

Files App I finally purchased Filebrowser Pro, and 8player, which fits most of my file transfer needs between my iPhone, iPad and PC's, particularly my media storage device attached to my Netgear router. About that same time I discovered the new Files app. Could. not. get. it. to. work. Fast forward and one day I'm logged into my router doing some maintenance when I noticed my readyshare folders were lit up like links (they don't do that from a PC) so I select one and hocus pocus it opens my Files App and I log in using my router credentials and eureka I am in and can do anything from ANY app. Until a couple if weeks ago, that is, now, no matter what I try I cannot get connected.

Send a link to a folder/file location on network attached storage I have a Synology network attached storage DS216 mounted in Finder. Is there a way to send a link to a file or folder location on my server to someone who has access to the same file/folder on my network? It seems like there isn't an easy way to do this.

files app to connect to mac iPad pro on 13.1.2, MBP on 10.13.6 (it's a late 2011), can i connect to my mac via the files app, using the connect to server feature? on the mac, i have feel sharing on, both afp and smb. using afp, it says that url is not supported. using smb, it take a minute and says "there was a problem connecting to the server..." i know my username and password are correct, both are on the same wifi network. i use iCloud drive, so i can exchange files that way, but given my setup, is this supposed to work? the mac os is as late as i can go, since the mac is so old. i also use google drive, but not on the iPad, and i quit using dropbox. thanks for any help in this.
