ITunes Freezing After Entering Password

I’m using the latest version as of the date, 12.0.0.7 I believe on Windows 10, and it suddenly began acting up.


I open iTunes and it immediately asks for my password. I type it in, sign in, and the little wheel that shows it’s connecting to the network appears but only moves if I keep clicking individual songs or leave one of the drop down menus open but all it does is spin without connecting.


I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes twice. It’s still happening.


Help needed please. Hoping it’s simple as complicated fixes aren’t easy for me due to my disability.

Disconnect from the Internet. Open iTunes. Sign out of your Apple ID. Connect to the internet. Sign in again.
