I was updating to ios 13.1 using iTunes 12.6.5 from windows 10
when the iPhone is in the recovery mode iTunes showed this error "The iPhone could not be restored.An unknown error occurred(10)".
Is there anyway to update without losing my data?
NOTE : I don't want to update iTunes.

I had this very same error when restoring my wife's new iPhone 11 on the very same version of iTunes. Bottom line was I had to update her version of iTunes and it worked with no issues. She'll get used to managing her apps on her devices. Oh, BTW, she is on Windows 7 so FWIW, this is not related to Windows or Windows versions.

I think that may be the problem. I'm fairly sure that iOS 13 needs a newer version of iTunes. Why don't you want to update iTunes?
