iCloud / backup issue!

iPhone 8 Plus. iOS 13.1

’make sure you are connected to WiFi while uploading to iCloud. ‘

this started when I updated to iOS 13 a couple of days ago. (Only showed up twice out of about 6 backups. ) I have WiFi wireless, never had this issue before with ANY iOS in the past half decade.

the first picture below is the main issue. It’s only about a 100 MB total backup with normally about 5-20 MB to upload. Here’s the problem— I’ll go to bed at 11pm & get up at 8am & it says the same exact thing. ‘Updating iCloud about 1 minute remaining’

anyone else having this issue? Any advice at all?
