We use the Apple TV in a classroom environment, plugged into a HDMI connection for the IWB. When first switching on, it shows the Apple logo then goes to a blank white screen. Still shows when a remote is connected, charging or almost out of battery. If left long enough it shows the screensaver. Please help as it is needed for class activities.

Some users reportedly had results by using the TV/Home button (or double-tapping) on the remote. It might be a particular app that is misbehaving and showing white?
Tried unplugging the unit and tried it on another monitor. Same thing. When I hold down the TV button for a length of time the menu pops up to send the unit to sleep. Sent to sleep and switched on again, same thing. When holding the Menu and 9 (-) buttons together and then letting go I get the screen saying it is switching to another resolution. Clicked OK when seeing the Apple logo but still goes to white screen. iPads seem to connect to it when mirroring through Airplay as the iPad asks for a passcode. Obviously though I cannot see the passcode.
