32 bit apps post Catalina upgrade

Two questions: 1) when you update to the new operating system, beyond not working what happens to the 32 bit apps as part of the upgrade - are they removed? 2) if not, what is the most efficient way to delete 32 bit apps that will (soon) no longer run? Thanks in advance

As for Catalina we do not know what it does. There are those who participate in the beta software evaluation program but they are not supposed to report on Catalina in the public forums. Any such report would be removed by the hosts. You can see if it is mentioned in the preview documentation but since that would be a small, one-time feature it may not be mentioned.

1) Nobody who knows how Catalina responds in this scenario can post about it here on the open forum since it is still beta software.

"How do I check if an app is 32-bit or 64-bit?

From the Apple menu, choose About This Mac, then

click the System Report button. From the system report, scroll down to

Software in the sidebar, then select Applications. When you select an

individual application, you will see a field titled 64-bit (Intel).

“Yes" indicates 64-bit; “No" indicates 32-bit. If you're using macOS

Mojave, select Legacy Software in the sidebar to see all applications

that have not been updated to use 64-bit processes."

Thnx! Will check out the third party app. My question arose after I already got the 'No' list from System Report. The shorter version is does the new OS itself remove the 32 bit software, or do I have to, and if the latter, is there a quick way of doing it? If I select all the No/32 bit software while in System Report, I cannot drag them all to the trash, and want to avoid doing a Finder search on each (of many) applications.
