I ordered a brand new iPad mini 5 from a seller on Swappa. It came sealed in the box. My question is regarding the color- I’ve been reading that the gold color is the same as the gold color of the iPad mini 4. I have both iPads and the color is definitely different. The iPad mini 5 is a very coppery gold and the iPad mini 5 is like a champagne gold. Did I get scammed or is the 5th generation a new gold color?

They just confirmed they are 2 different colors. I wonder why nobody (online in a search or on YouTube when people compare the two models etc.) has noticed that or said anything about it. Everyone says they are the same on the exterior, minus the microphone placement.
It appears the gold color has been different with every version that has featured it.

Thanks. I’m online with Apple support now and they think it’s supposed to be the same color. How they don’t know for sure, is beyond me. I’m about to speak with a senior advisor.
