Are you running any anti - virus programs? Using a VPN?
Try setting up another admin user account in System Preferences/Users & Groups to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.
Isolating an issue by using another user account
If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor. Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown. If the log won’t post, try posting it in Pastebin and provide a link in a reply. After pasting the report in a PasteBin page, go to the top of the page, and copy the address in the URL bar. Paste that in a new reply. Pastebin

Eric,
Thank you for responding. I tried the first option and created another Admin user acct. I went back on Amazon and I did not see the blackout images. I tried this by switching accounts a couple times and again I didnt see the blacked out images in the new acct, but I did see them in my regular admin account. What do you suggest I do at this point?
Thanks again,
Judy Nelson
You are welcome. Try booting into the Safe Mode on your normal account. Also run/post the Etrecheck report. If the log won’t post, try posting it in Pastebin and provide a link in a reply. I don't see any software that normally causes problems. Try going to System Preferences/Users & Groups, access your account, and remove your log in items. Restart the computer and do not open anything but Safari. See if the images will load.
ok, Thank You, but Im not going to worry about it anymore. All the images are not blacked out, just some in different places. Maybe its something with Amazon. Anyway I appreciate all the help you gave me. I decided to buy another Macbook Pro as this one has prob seen its better days anyway.
Regards,
Judy Nelson
When I boot in safe mode it does not blackout, but in regular mode i still get blacked out images.
Try shutting down Safari then while pressing and holding the shift key launch Safari. This will start Safari in a clean state.
Tried but still get blacked out images
Eric,
see my next response
You are welcome.
