How to turn off VoLTE in iOS 13.1?

VoLTE is flaky where I live. Using VoLTE results in phone calls that randomly “fuzz out” at times. I want to use LTE for data only.

In previous versions of iOS, you had 3 choices for LTE: Off, Data Only, and Voice and Data.

In iOS 13.1 it appears that you can only turn LTE on or off.

How do you turn off VoLTE in iOS 13.1 while still being able to use LTE for data?

If it matters, I’m using an iPhone 8 on AT&T.

Thanks in advance for any help. I’m getting really tired of flaky phone calls and don’t want to be restricted to 3G data speeds!

I understand.

I suppose dropping data quality to 4G is the sacrifice required to end the flaky telephone calls.

Sorry I have no other suggestions. Maybe AT&T can offer some. You can dial 611 from your iPhone to speak to someone there.

Good luck with this!

Thanks for the reply.

Nope, that didn’t work, unfortunately.

Turning Data Roaming on did nothing. I think that’s only for when you travel overseas.
