No matter what I do I cannot reset my security questions. The message I am getting is - We don't have sufficient info to reset your security questions.

I got my new iPhone 11 Pro Max, I activate the phone okay but I cannot change the name of the phone because I do not remember my security answers so when I try to reset them I am get the following message -


CANNOT RESET SECURITY QUESTIONS

We don't have sufficient information to reset your security questions.


I don't see any way to get past this error and have no idea what to do to resolve this, please help!

You will have to call Apple support - Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security - Apple Support - and get them to help you recover your account access.

Glad it is fixed. With 2 factor authentication it would be wise to login to your AppleID and add a backup telephone voice or SMS number, especially if you only have one Apple device.


In a pinch, if needed, you can receive authorization codes by automated voice call, or an SMS to a backup trusted number.
