Problems with Gmail on Apple Mail

Starting a week or so ago, I've been having difficulty both receiving and sending Gmail using Apple Mail on my iMac running OSX 10.14.6

Any others having similar issues?

mail No incoming emails. I seek some advice from members. I updated OS 12.31 about a week ago. Ever since doing this Apple Mail has not worked as it should. I receive no incoming mail. I have my mail accounts on Gmail synced to my Apple Mail account and usually interact with mail via Apple Mail. I am reduced to using Gmail directly. I have checked all passwords, restarted applications and shut down restated the Macbook a couple of times. However, I can send emails from the Apple Mail interface. Machine: Macbook Pro 8 GB Ram 256HD intel 2019. Mail can't sync with the Gmail server, the message I get is it keeps timing out. Any suggestions? Thank you for your time and skill Phil

I cant send mail in Apple/Mac mail (v 11.5) but can send via webmail - it is not working on several accounts using Mac mail...but works on other machines in our house. has anyone had recent issues with sending mail on their Mac desktop? several accounts cant send using Mac mail (11.5) - stuck in outbox - but works fine with webmail browser..

Not able to send the emails using the "Mail" app on my Mac. The very same issues happen with any 3rd party app, not only the native software.
