MacBook Pro 15, kernel panic iBridge

Gang,

I had a crash this morning, not sure why on my MacBook Pro 15, 6xi9, 32GB, 1T. When everything came back up my 4T Time Machine drive was clicking like something was wrong so I stopped Time Machine and had Disk Utility look at it.

4 kernel panics later... any access to that drive seems to cause a hard lock and after a few minutes the computer shuts down then restarts. When it comes back up there is no pop up window stating there was a problem but here is a snipit of the the console log.

Thanks, I know what to do!

FYI... the drive had some weird problem with it because of the crash. I put it on another macOS MacBook Pro 13 and the same thing happened in Drive Utility the machine hard locked.

I do development work so I have a couple of older all in one MacBook Pro 13 (CD/DVD drive, thunderbolt, etc) on older os with the Drive Utility you can do a repair and plugged the drive in there and it fixed the problem and now I don't have any issues.

Thanks,

Gordon

Hello Gordon Rankin.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

If I'm understanding correctly, your Mac unexpectedly restarted and experienced a kernel panic. I know it's important to have a working Mac, and I will be glad to assist.
