Spotify Playlists sorting incorrectly on CarPlay

I have CarPlay on my 2017 Audi, but rarely use it. I decided to give it another go with iOS 13.

I have a playlist called "My Shazam Tracks" and on both my MacBook Pro and my iPhone XS max, I have the playlist sorted by "Recently added". However, when using Spotify on CarPlay, it appears to sort them backwards, i.e. the oldest song in the plasylist appears first.

Anyone any suggestions how to sort this?

No Apple Music playlist track sort options? Just moved over to Apple Music from Spotify, but find that all new tracks added to playlists (e.g. Shazam tracks) appear ‘at the bottom’ of the playlist. I use the iOS app mostly - are there really no playlist track sorting options to e.g. by date added, ascending or descending? Having to scroll through 700-odd tracks each time I want to listen to recent Shazam tracks is way painful, especially in CarPlay with fiddly steering wheel controls.

Does anybody know WHY you can't sort a playlist by date added? I've seen the question asked all over the place - how do you sort tracks inside a playlist (on an iPhone). The only answer everybody gets is that that functionality isn't available. Does anybody know why? This seems like really basic functionality. I tend to think most people would like to hear the latest music they have found first, instead of having to scroll to the bottom of their playlist. It's one of the last things keeping me from recommending anybody to switch to Apple Music. It's also one of the only things enticing me to change back to Spotify... Help us out here, Apple. Put it on the roadmap. Build it in a hackathon. Outsource it. Do something.

Playlists not Alphabetical on iphone Just upgraded to Big Sur Apple Music synching smart playlist to iphone, the apple music playlist is in alphabetical order, the corresponding playlist on the iphone is not. Yes, there is a sort order option in the iphone Music playlist section, but it seems to only change the order of the playlists themselves and not the songs within.
