Notification pops up but won’t play music on iPhone XS Max

Tried that and it didn’t work, also tried signing out of the phone all together, restart and logged back in. Didn’t work either.
Ended up going to the Music app, For You, profile @top right and View Apple ID. Clicked on that and changed nothing but, resolved the issue for this device. Thanks for the response!

Didn’t work for me. Says I have already used free trial, I I have the Family Free Trial. Next screen asks me if I want to pay $9.99 for individual plan.

Yeah man. I didn’t want to have to do that so I called Apple support. I didn’t even know it was all that I thought it was just Apple Pay. Wow. Too bad you didn’t see my post first
