Tried that and it didn’t work, also tried signing out of the phone all together, restart and logged back in. Didn’t work either.
Ended up going to the Music app, For You, profile @top right and View Apple ID. Clicked on that and changed nothing but, resolved the issue for this device. Thanks for the response!
Looks like restarting and or resetting the network settings will get you to Welcome to Family sharing. From there you will be asked to select your music library preferences and then try a song.
That should work!
try doing this, make sure you make another “purchase” of the subscription (which will fail):
hopefully this helps
You have to reset all setting. Settings > General > Reset all settings.
It will work. 100% sure.

Try again, this way:
Sign out of the iTunes Store and then sign back in.
In settings - Music - Turn off Sync Library and then turn it back on and Turn on “Show Apple Music”
Reset your all settings and everything will be fine .
None of this fixes my issue and my subscription is up to date.
I already signed out and in again, that alone didn't work. Also, there is no "Sync Library" option under Settings -> Music on my iPad, with up to date iOS. Just "Join Apple Music" which, when I click, again just shows the "You're Already an Apple Music member" dialog again.
Woke up to this problem today. Tried signing out, switching off, signing in, following the links. Apple Music also not playing any tracks on my mac. Subscription paid for and up to date. Seems to be a problem for a lot of users. No clear solution for me.
I’ve heard that will work. But it erases a lot of things and it’s really frustrating getting everything back to the way it was. My post works really well to fix this problem and doesn’t make you have to mess with all these settings
Thanks for letting us know how you resolved it.
This did not fix the issue for me.
So I tried some of the suggestions, now it deleted all my playlists and I still can’t... soooo bye Apple Music
This has happened to me as well and I turned off “sync library” in settings and now all my music has disappeared. Can I get this back?
Doesn’t work for me. My wife is logged into the same account and hers is fine.
Perfect that has fixed the issue for me. Thanks for sharing.
