The volume on a normal call is so low I can hardly hear anything. Volume is fine when on speaker & using EarPods but not during a normal handheld call. I’ve restarted, changed settings in noise cancellation etc but no improvement. Anyone found a solution?

Sounds like you've checked a lot of settings and done a lot of great troubleshooting already, so great job there. Just to be sure we're not skipping any, I do recommend taking a look at the resource below as this can resolve issues with low volume on calls.

Thanks but I’ve tried all these steps & still no improvement. I can hear (just about) someone on a call via the receiver but it’s extremely low call volume even when on the highest setting....speaker sound is fine as is when using with ear pods...but normal ear receiver sound is unusable.

From here, if you haven't already done so I recommend updating to the latest iOS, and then testing if this behavior continues. iOS 13.1.2. did just recently become available, so you may have an available update. Use the steps for updating here: Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
