only getting notification of text once, yet repeat x5 is selected!

i have just purchased an iphone 8, to replace my old 6, which was working fine.

i transferred all my settings over to my new phone via the latest back up....

yet i can not get the text notification to sound more than once, even though 5 x is selected,

i have re started many times, and all is latest updates...

any ideas please?

I understand you're not receiving repeat notifications even though you have settings set to repeat 5 times. I'd be happy to point you in the right direction.
