iPad keyboard

When I open an app like safari or notes that requires keyboard input and when i try to type the keyboard doesn’t show up. I have to close all my recent apps and then the keyboard still doesn’t show up. When I reopen the app the the keyboard works. Why does this happen? What did i do wrong?

Keyboard accessibility Since the latest update to my ipad I have had issues with either keeping keyboard accessibility off or on. First I could not see comments in FB so I read to turn ON full keyboard accessibility and that worked. Now I am seeing blue highlight boxes around things, can’t tab in “notes” or even click the space bar to add a note, it won’t space at all. Then I read to turn OFF full keyboard accessibility. Prior to the latest update this all worked just fine. Any solutions?

Why is my keyboard suddenly showing in the middle of the screen so I can’t see what I’m typing? Suddenly whenever I type on my iPad my keyboard shows up in the middle of the page and I can’t see what I’m typing. u

This is a somewhat common bug. Have you tried restarting iPad?
