How long does Apple Credit Card take to update balance after payment from checking account. The payment posted on Tuesday and it is Friday and my Available balance is still not reflecting the payment.

I do not recommend anyone get this card! After being on the phone with reps for over half an hr and being transferred to multiple departments I received an answer that it takes 7-10 days to reflect a payment into your account. The payment was immediately deducted from my account but would take 7-10 days to reflect on my Apple Card balance. Worse credit card and card service I have ever experienced. The only way for a payment to immediately reflect on your available balance is to put money on your Apple Cash then pay off your Apple Card with the funds from your Apple Cash. The most ridiculous thing I have ever experienced with a credit card; I already closed the account after a month, not dealing with that!

I think I finally figured it out. If you transfer money to your Apple Cash card it changes your available balance immediately. That’s because both digital cards are processed through web bank. When you make a payment using your bank account it goes to Goldman Sachs and then they have to alert web bank to update the available balance. Not sure why the process isn’t smoother but that’s what I came up with. Also I have a lower available limit compared to my wife and same thing happened with her first payment- her available balance updated within seconds. I’ll find out next week if it’s still the same for hers when I go to pay it!

I’ve been having the same issue since Monday 10/14. I paid my balance in full, money was taken from my Chase account right away and cleared next day, but my Apple Card available balance hasn’t updated. I’ve also gotten the same response from support. It could take several days. Funny thing I paid my wife’s card off a few weeks ago and it updated within seconds, same bank account and everything......

I did, they told me it could take 10+ days to reflect after payment has been made and told me to add cash to my Apple cash card and submit payment using the Apple Cash card, what a bunch of bs, also my bank debit card isn’t supported for Apple Cash so I can’t use that option, closing account, waste of hard inquiry, I don’t recommend this card at all

For me this all resolved after the first month. Initially it was 10 full days and I , also, was quite frustrated. You don't have the money in your bank nor do you have it as available credit on your card. However, within a month (and I made 3 payments during it) I now have instant credit for my payments applied. I love this card. Paying your bill takes 5 seconds from the wallet app Taptic touch on the home screen.

I have the same issue. The payment has been "completed" and "credited to my account," but not reflected in my available balance. 😕

The "Apple Card Specialist at Goldman Sachs" said that it takes "several days" for the Goldman Sachs Bank USA, Salt Lake City Branch to do their side of the transaction. So they can be pretty slow with actually putting it in your account.

Welfever I tried your advice.... I called them Josh who is a GS representative and on the call he didn’t even look up my info to gather my account, (must get the same call a lot), and all he said was said, “it’s the two banks learning to talk to each other”. So I called my bank to see if they have the correct love language for GS, and sure enough they confirmed the $3,000 pulled on 10/3 and cleared all the way through to the GS account. I was even given a bank to bank transactions number. So still hopeful now with this new information, I called GS again... and this time they took my info to look up the account... confirmed they have money and my account has been credited... but it will take “serval days” to update in my available balance. It’s Tuesday and she said, ” maybe by Friday”

Apple please help? What is going on? Don’t say serval say ... say 10+ days so we can make a educated choice... I can’t believe GS is making money by this move... please fix this

Same issue here. I made a payment on 10/1 and within seconds my available credit was updated. Made a payment yesterday, same account and everything, payment cleared at my bank today and the available credit hasn’t changed. As with everyone else, customer service keeps saying it takes “several days” for the payment to reflect in available credit which I find to be total bs. Every single credit card I’ve had—Chase, Capital One, Discover, Citi—reflects the proper available credit a day (at max) after payment was made even on weekends...
