Does my MacBook Air have a virus?

hello, I had to uninstall and re-install a cutting plotter on my macbook air, the plotter is a silhouette cameo 3. after re-downloading the software I went in to check the operation but it opens a popup where it says: Osascript wants to make changes. enter the password to allow the action. Is it normal or does my macbook air have a virus?

If the plotter driver requires that it is installed with Administrator privileges then you will see this prompt. It could be normal, especially if you downloaded this driver from the manufacturer's support site. You should also contact them to see if this type of permission is required to install their driver.
