Voice Control is not working

I love this new accessibility feature that iOS 13 introduced. It’s definitely great for people who have mobility issues but also great for instances when you can’t physically interact with your phone. My problem is, this feature seems to not work on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. When I updated my iPhone XS to iOS 13, this feature was working.

I enabled it in Settings, but the microphone icon beside the time is greyed out. It goes blue for a fraction of a second but stays greyed out all throughout. I tried enabling and disabling Attention Aware, but that didn’t work. Also went to Privacy > Microphone, but there was no option for it there.

Does anyone have any idea as to how to fix this? I just updated to iOS 13.1.2 (the issue has been there since iOS 13 up to 13.1.1).

While I did not have your specific problem with the microphone I have solved a few of the voice control bugs with a hard reset. Lots of videos of hard resets, force restarts etc on YouTube

Step 1 How to Force Restart an iPhone 11. Quickly press and release the Volume Up button (1). Quickly press and release the Volume Down button (2). ...

2 Finally, press and hold the side button (3) until the Apple logo appears, and then release. The screen will temporarily go dark as the iPhone shuts down and reboots.

Only Apple would have a solution for an accessibility feature that is physically impossible if you're disabled. All that hard currency and android is getting closer by the day; it is just not functional if you're disabled. Why they don't actually tested on people with disabilities as per plexus. That should read is perplexing, and test it… first you're lying this dictation no, forced to rely on their erratic dictation as always I actually said, is what I actually said… hope you can decipher Apple' S sarah from exquisite offering for disabled people pointless

It never has not continuously anyway and far from completely, leaving absolutely loads of functions in possible if you're disabled impossible, Even the dictation is a pool day … a palling abstracts a palling and then it just goes nuts and you can't do anything because apparently the number commands don't work either. This is not acceptable to claim disable people can use this that's disabled people Apple Pay is sorted out. No apple please sort it out
