Transferring music from one iPhone to another

I just got an 11 pro and want to transfer the music on the current one to the new one. I already know that when I setup the new phone using restore from backup or WiFsetup, the songs don’t transfer. iAlmost all of my music is from cd’s and I’ve heard that if you try to move something not purchased from Apple Music, it will appear grayed out and you’re not able to even open it on a Mac, let alone transfer it.

Does anyone know how I can do this without losing almost my entire library?

Losing the entire library?

If you didn’t get the music from Apple Music, did you sync it from a computer?

Your music library would still be on the computer you imported the CDs onto.

just sync the music to the new device from that computer.

Now if you don’t have the computer there is another way.

Take a look at this.
