why can siri not turn off my alarm?

Hi I upgraded to iPad OS last week and for the most part I've not had any issues BUT when I try to turn off an alarm before it goes off I get this from siri " Sorry, I can't turn off your alarm right not, but I silenced it." At alarm time the alarm will go off.

My command was turn off my alarm and if there is only one alarm on.... Well, in the past siri did turn it off.

Does my command have to be more precise or a bug or???

Not a big deal but annoying.
