onenote Print preview

Prior to updating to iOS 12.4.2 or later I was able to open pdf's in portrait view and mark them up. However since then, everything that I print preview now opens in landscape (or horizontal) view. I can still mark it up, which is cool. But some of these files are like 50 pages and I don't think it makes sense that I have to rotate each page every time. But just for giggles I rotated the first 10 and found that some of the page is now cut off.

I've already opened a ticket with MS, but I'm wondering if anyone has experienced the same and if there was a fix? I have another ipad that is running 12.4.1 and it works perfectly on that.
