Screen time PIN only working on child's phone

I've been using Screen time for a while to with two of my kids and has been working fine until I updated the phones to iOS13. Now the code works on the child's phone but not on mine, so I can't add time or change the settings through my phone only on the child's phone.

I know I didn't forget the PIN as it is working when used directly. :-)

I have a iPhone XS Max and the kid's phone is an iPhone 6S Plus also with the newest update (13.1.2).

I have tried reboots on both devices with no luck.

Any ideas?

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. I understand the passcode associated with Screen Time on your device. I’ll be happy to help with this.

Have you tried creating a new passcode for Screen Time on your device? If not, go to Settings > Screen Time and tap on the option to change the passcode from there. Update the passcode. If that works, you can change it back to the passcode you want and let us know if that works.
