Using keyboard text replacement with Passwords feature

Some time ago, iOS stopped letting me use the keyboard text replacement feature when the system determined you were on a website login screen. The "Passwords" text comes up in the area where predicted text shows and though I type the shortcut for my email address and it does pop up in that same area for a split second, it goes away and I can't get my email entered via the shortcut. The shortcut will work fine if I'm using it in an email or wherever, but once iOS wants to use the Passwords feature (something I avoid), it completely prevents you from using text replacement. So, since I don't use that feature, I have to manually type in my email address (which is kind of long). Is there any way to get around this problem?
