How to change the maps navigation voice from Male Siri?

As the subject, how do I change the voice?

I have tried:

Settings: Accessibility: Spoken Content: Voices: English

From here downloaded a new voice and selected it to put a blue tick next to it.

Regardless of what I chose using the above method the voice remains Siri Male english.

I'm new to Apple products, just testing this one to see if I can make the leap from Android, so if I've missed something obvious that's why. This and live location sharing to an Android person or via a webpage are the only things I have left to defeat!

Any help would be great.
