iPhone email signature image not showing
Since updating to ios13, my email signature logo is not showing in my email.
It is saved in signatures, so the signature is coming across, but the logo is a blank box?

I was changing the email signature image and then i got the same problem. I tried many things, html signature, testing outlook copy paste etc etc.
What did fix it for me was using Spark the email app from app store. I created a signature and pasted in the image from my picture library. Then opened a new email and copy pasted the whole signature. Paste it in the original mail app signature.
Fixed my problems!
thanks.. works for my phone, not for my client phone, because he does not want to learn a new app for read email, sparks is nice but you need to learn a new layout for reading and sent emails.. anyway... thanks for your help// best regards
What's really crazy is that Apple doesn't seem to give a rats @$$. How long do people (with considerable experience with this issue) have do discuss this in this "discussion" before someone at Apple provides a definitive fix or solution. Three of my four sons just got the latest Samsung Note. I think dad is about to follow.
I expect your post will be removed. I wrote a post a couple of days ago in which I ranted a little and brought up the idea of switching phones. I was told the reason my post was being removed was that I was ranting and that it wasn’t helpful. On the contrary I feel that at this point after months and months of this problem with absolutely no attempt to fix by apple, that the only helpful thing to do at this point is for the customers who are dissatisfied to show that dissatisfaction. Perhaps then, it will be escalated up the chain, and the higher ups might recognize that it could effect their bottom line. This is a problem that effects people’s business. It effects our bottom line. I can’t put links to social media accounts in my email signature. That is a huge problem. It effects my marketing and in turn, my income. I’ve always loved apple products. I have a Mac Pro, a MacBook Pro, and an iPad. I never thought I would bring myself to switch to a phone that isn’t Mac. But this issue and having no official response by someone at apple to even let us know that they are working on a bug fix for it that will be on the next update, or anything to shed light on the subject is completely unacceptable in my book. Not a rant. Just honest feedback to apple and an attempt to escalate the issue.
The excuse they have been using is that they don’t want to be responsible about any images sent.
can you believe it? Each of the users is responsible of what images they use.
not more words to say.
Again ... you are exactly right. But as you said before, they could respond by saying that they have recognized the problem and that they are working on a fix. Customers are understanding. I'd be willing to be patient if they displayed a teensy bit of humility in recognizing a problem they don't have a solution for. But with this kind of abstinence and arrogance ... well ...
Say hello to my next phone.
It’s ridiculous! I can’t believe they cannot fix this and how would they feel if their Apple logo all the sudden was a clear box and said null...... might thing they went under!!! So Apple can u help your customers out please. We have been loyal - this is unacceptable
@mariocantor You wonder if somebody from Apple is reading this post?
Depends on who is the Apple person is. Is he the one of the QA department or developer or a sales person. Besides, there are one thousand topics posted everyday, I doubt that the developers have enough time to read all the posts. Plus many Apple employees, like sales., admin marketing can't do anything about the issues with Apple OS or iOS
I wish that QA would allocate a group of people who would get involved in the Apple community, besides reading the submitted complains through the suggestion site.
I am having this issue. I tried adding my professional HTML sig to my iPhone and iPad years ago, didn't work then, doesn't work now.
I only really care about my professional email account having the HTML sig (designed and working flawlessly in Outlook), the rest have the plain "Sent from my iPhone/iPad" text.
I have tried copying and pasting, undo attributes, deleting and adding in the other accounts, power cycling the phone....no dice.
I'm running an iPhone Xr iOS 13.6.1 and an iPad (same iOS).
The text of the sig works fine. The linked logos all fail, and have null boxes in place of them....terribly unprofessional. My Android work mates are making me look foolish....HELP!
It seems like jwkk3jk did not read before posts where his proposal was already suggested. But guess what. I won’t work after reply or send new email once set.
read before to post. This is ridiculous saying the same for something that is not working
Many don't want to use Spark. If Apple wanted to do this, it would be done. For some bizarre reason they don't. I can add my logo pretty quickly, so the argument that the logos (graphics) can contain nefarious code is ridiculous. They should just do it. As I said month ago, my next phone is an Samsung.
Do you have an Apple desktop computer and do syncing? If you do, watch out...
What happens if Apple fixes this issue, are you going back to the iPhone? :o) Good luck with the Samsung, let us know if you like it.
I don't have an Apple desktop. Syncing has never been a problem.
I'll probably keep the old iphone for a few apps that aren't available for the Android platform. My four sons all now have Samsung phones and they love them. Objectively it seems Samsung is leading when it comes to innovation.
If you move away from iPhone, I doubt that Apple would make any changes, even if 100,000 they would not. One million, maybe, but less likely it would happen.
I wonder how the top Apple management people are using their iPhones sending emails without an HTML signature and the logo?
Why do you recommend this solution when you know his logo will still appear as a blank box? This has been an issue in Apple mail for years, unbelievable this catastrophe has not been addressed! Apple Mail = Fail
Question by G_X_H
"Why do you recommend this solution when you know his logo will still appear as a blank box"
The answer:
I recommend because it works on my iPhone pro max iOS14.01, using the third party app. Plus I helped at least 10 other people know are using iPhones.
I have no idea why his logo does not appear, on his phone because its not in my hands. And if I had it, I may have found a solution.
