iPhone email signature image not showing

Since updating to ios13, my email signature logo is not showing in my email.

It is saved in signatures, so the signature is coming across, but the logo is a blank box?

You only do it manually one time if you do it according to my instructions. Spark app-create signature and insert image from a picture button in spark app. Then create a new email, copy the whole signature.

Go to iPhone settings - emails - signature and paste the signature.

Guys I found a work around for it, it is not the best of the best but it works, you can barely noticed it but something is something. All you have to do is add a dot at the beginning or at the very last of your image, something that shows next to signature when you get out from it, otherwise it will not recognize that something is in there, if anybody has questions let me know so I can write step by step on how to

My signature is comprised of name and position in top two lines then the ‘company/firm logo image’ followed by company address at the bottom lines.

But each time after setting up signatures the logo image disappears after few hours, days or attempts of out going emails, but the text lines (including name, position and address) remain.

Oh!...and taking your advice...I also tried placing a dot before and (next time) after the logo image in the signatures....but non has worked. The logo image still disappears or doesn’t remain saved....however the added dots still remain in the signatures.

Heather and I tested yesterday, and her sig file didn't appear once in our exchange. Heather, thanks for the exchange back and forth.

The reason I wanted to test that with her is because often times peeps attach a file to a local directory to their computer, and they will see it come through every time like its works, but that may be result from being able to locate the file on her local directory

In the example above, Mw3boy68 suggests sending a test to yourself on the same email (which may read your local directory file and display like its working) or by sending to another email on a different domain (if it's going to and from your personal network, the file may still be recognized).

If ya'll are going to test, test with a friend outside your organization with a few exchanges back and forth. The question is, do THEY still see your email logo/sig file image throughout the correspondence, and NOT as an attachment.

Good luck all.

Another test I just completed on my own with an outside party - I sent them my email thread asking if they could see my logo in each correspondence, she could, and I asked her to just reply back to me. She did, and all of my logos appeared as they should from the prior conversations that weren't with her in the thread, but her reply to me showed just an outline around around where my logo should appear.

I also noticed this dialog box appear at the top of my gmail account that read...

Some content in this message has been blocked because the sender isn't in your Safe Senders list. I trust content from ....@gmail.com. | Show blocked content

Of course by clicking "Show blocked content" my logo immediately appeared in place, and not as an attachment image. I hope this helps too. Back to work.

It’s sad apple has no solution for this. Like said before, it makes you look incompetent when your email signature doesn’t show properly. If the solution would is a free E-mail client that truly puts apple to shame. I’m going to try the spark solution. Perhaps it’s time to switch to Samsung or any other cheaper brand that has this basic function.

I fully agree with you. I would like to hear something from anyone who’s working in Apple. Where’re they all. Aren’t they working from home...? Do they ever read people’s voices here. If they do, why are they so quiet about this issue. This community thread is 9 pages long now with no solution insight. Does Apple care...?

Else, I would return my phone to the employer and request for an Android replacement.

Hi There!,

Not sure if you are still experiencing problems with the image I went through many of them but finally achieve the goal.

You already open the html file in your browser and the image is showed? if not and you are using dropbox to link it you have to make a tiny change in the url, here it is a detaill explanation:

After being sure about the url, the shake thing worked for me.

Hope this help :)

Hey thanks a ton! Yes the link you used worked. The other thing I had to do was follow this guide here. I was missing that crucial step of instead of inserting a physical file I had to paste the link in, and then click the drop down box next to insert and then click link to file. Now all seems to be working. Surprised Apple Support doesn't understand.

in response to Mw3boy68 saying...

Well the conclusions are still very disappointing. Thanks to both of you for efforts to confirm this.

iOS 13.4 has been released now, has anyone tried their luck after an upgrade to the new version...?

------

I might be misunderstanding what you said, my apologies, but to be clear, the solution I suggested works flawlessly, I was testing the solution Heather tried and we discovered the solution she tried never displayed her signature/logo, not even once during our email tests.

If anyone needs any assistance or clarification, don't hesitate to reach out. I'm happy to help.

Hi!,

Yeah its resolved but with an html file, not tried with an image format (.jpg, .gif, .png...). I coded it using tables an inline style properties (yeah, welcome 90´s again) becuase and external CSS file or modern properties are not supported.

Once you get the html file open it in your browser and check if your image (logo or whatever is showed) if not and you are using dropbox to link it you have to make a tiny change in the url, here it is a detaill explanation:

https://www.mail-signatures.com/articles/direct-link-to-hosted-image/

After being sure about the url, send an email form your computer to your iphone with the attached signature, copy and paste it in the signature location (general settings > mail > signature). Without leaving this screen shake your phone (the way to undo things in your phone), because as a default iOS is gonna a change your style (mostly related with typeface and dimensions).

Hope this could help. :)
