iPhone email signature image not showing
Since updating to ios13, my email signature logo is not showing in my email.
It is saved in signatures, so the signature is coming across, but the logo is a blank box?

You only do it manually one time if you do it according to my instructions. Spark app-create signature and insert image from a picture button in spark app. Then create a new email, copy the whole signature.
Go to iPhone settings - emails - signature and paste the signature.
is there a fix for this yet that doesn’t require all the steps mentioned above?
I just spoke with someone on the Apple enterprise team and he confirmed images in email signature is not supported in IOS 13 and he suggested that I submit a feature request online with Apple. I told him that if that was their recommendation for this that a feature request for this would have certainly been submitted by now, but he said there had not been. I couldn’t believe it! The shake to undo formatting was a work around back in IOS 12, but definitely doesn’t work now.
True. But it's a workaround not a solution. Solutions solve problems. This isn't a solution given that the Native iOS app is still broken.
It's like buying a car without a steering wheel and the sales guy telling you if you want to actually drive the car you have to walk 2 miles down the road and have a mechanic install a steering wheel.
Apple should have solved this problem and they haven't.
Interesting. So there was so much interest they created a workaround for iOS 12 but did not think it was a feature for iOS 13?
This is sort of a duh moment in my opinion??
Steve would have paid more attention for sure.
I have this problem too. It’s been years no fix come on. Other brands can do this you used to let us do it. Why should I have to look professional because I choose your product?
mill just sell my stock and by another brand if you not fix this HELP NOW!!
I have tried some of these helps and none of them work for me it is so frustrating to have a high-end expensive phone and now seem very unprofessional because my digital signature cannot be consistent with all of my other branding in fact since I’ve tried some of these helps to add the photo my digital signature now is automatically populating four times instead of once it only shows that it’s there once I have completely deleted it and added it back only wants and two or three days later it starts multiple populating. I turn my digital signature off so it only populates on one of my multiple email addresses and that helped for two days but then it started populating four times again this all makes no sense you should give us back the ability to post our own photos in our digital signatures and have a sign a waiver that we have permission to use those photos or that we have created those photos ourselves. We are adults. We should be treated as such.
Totally agree with you @whenpigsfly9.
My concern is if Samsung devices have the same problem, might be an alternative, because this devices are expensive. If you use an image in your phone you are responsible, I don’t think is a good argument that Apple does not want risks regarding images used. Whatever.
Agreed! Apple needs to immediately offer a remedy for posting our company logos in our signatures. Many iPhone users are professionals that use their iPhone for business. Lack of this feature in not professional and makes us think about switching to Andriod.
iPhone? What about iPads for the business? I have been using them for the last 15 years strictly for sending emails with company logos and a letterheads. Now my iPad is useless. I hope apple fixes this issue.
It’s not just iPhones it is other Apple products I’ve been harping about my iPhone because I don’t intend to get another phone but I have switched from an iPad which I have no longer use to a surface pro device as my tablet for the purpose of having a more professional appearance when I use that device for sending emails. If I’d known this was going to be an issue before I spent well over $1000 on my phone I might’ve considered buying another phone at that time. It is not Apple’s responsibility to Police each of our digital signatures and determine whether or not we have the right to use those images if someone has a complaint against an individual user research that individual user
I have tried most of the options listed here and none of them seem to work. My husband's firm have just moved and so his old signature needed updating (strangely the previous one, which was setup in ios11, continued to work on his new phone running ios13.4, as the phone was restored from the old backup). I have tried to set up using my gmail (how the previous one was done) and sparks, but even though the logo shows in the signature settings, it doesn't appear in the email, all there shows is either a blank white box or nothing, depending on which way I try and set it up.
The only thing I am unable to try is the email signature generator, as the signature is created in photoshop using text and image, then sent via gmail as a png. I noticed in sparks that the image can be converted into html, but just using the code in the settings, doesn't actually produce the image.
I am at my wits end with this and any help would be gratefully received (I wish I'd never deleted the old one, which am unable to put back, as have the same issues). Thanks
@The Blues, I am able to send using my iPhone 11 Promax. When I open the mail application I don't see the logo, on the bottom of my signature that was created in Spark, but when I send emails, people are getting the logo in the signature, except the text is not formatted, which is another issue with Apple mail. It should go back to HTML option.
I am using Spark and mail together, and soon as Apple resolves the problem, I will move back to mail.
Hi I tried sending test emails from his work email to others, using both the signature created using both gmail and spark, but the signature doesn’t show. The signature works in spark and gmail, but if I use in apple mail, which is what he uses for his work email, then it doesn’t appear on the email, yet is there in mail settings
Well very strangely, I've managed to get it to work. I redid it on the phone using the sparks method again, which still didn't work, but then I decided to try that combined with the last part of this link
https://www.kraftkennedy.com/updated-add-image-iphone-e-mail-signature-ios-9-3/ and bingo, it's worked.
But I think that it’s ridiculous. Imagine in a magazine advertising with your logo or picture, and the printing goes out without your picture because of the copyright. Every user is responsible of how they use their own signature, not Apple. And so on with more examples. If you use something wrong, you will be facing the consequences not the plataform or tool. Please, this is only my particular opinion.
Hi, I can confirm that by using this method you can put your full signature and digital image/logo into your iPhone emails, first download the email app called Spark from the App Store, set up 1 email address to set up the app which very straight forward, then go to setting and find signatures and set up the signature you want to use in your iPhone emails, you can simply copy and paste your signature from an email you have sent yourself, assign this signature to the email address you set up, then close the settings, go to your email in Spark and create an email, do not send it, when the default signature loads simply select all and copy it, then open your iPhone settings scroll down to mail and select signatures find the email you want to assign the signature to and paste it in, you can then hake your device and click Undo, this will return the signature to its original formatting, and that’s it, it’s a bit long winded but I know this definitely works even with the latest iOS 13.5.1 update, good luck
