Ringer volume continues to reset to low

Mine keeps resetting ringer volume to the middle, and I keep adjusting it again and again.

Even when I was typing this message, the notification volume bar (on the left side) appeared then disappeared multiple times.

Any help?

Okay, at least I know it's not just me - mine will drop completely to silent and I miss calls; or, go to max and make me jump out of my skin. This has been going on for a few weeks and it's quite annoying. I'm running iOS 13.1.3 on an iPhone 8 and it's been happening for a few patches.

This happens to me as well. It's made my Plantronics headset useless as it cranks the ringer volume when I connect it to the iPhone, or start charging the iPhone, or it just does it randomly and I forget until I get a phone call that is blasting through the speakers. I test it with every iOS update and it is still not fixed as of iOS 13.2 general release. I'm not sure if it's a Plantronics problem or an Apple problem but I can no longer use the headset (which is a shame because the simultaneous device connection is something AirPods can't duplicate).

Me too. Thought I was going crazy. I also use a Bluetooth car radio. When I connect it resets to zero and satay that way when you disconnect. It doesn’t matter what your settings are it seems to just ignore those.

i tried with buttons and without and manually setting the volume but it seems you have to do it over and over each time.

hopefully this gets fixed.

It seems that since I upgraded to the 11 Pro, I haven't had this problem. I've had the phone for over a month with no issues, even though I'm using the exact same bluetooth devices that I used with my iPhone 8.

I'm missing calls from customers and will need to purchase a different phone if this isn't fixed soon.

Apple better than this or not, I need results. Answering customer calls is how I feed my family and missing calls is not an option. I'm going to buy a non-apple phone soon.

Yeah. This is still not fixed. I still have to set and reset my volume all the time. The ringer is low and also just the audio is low. It’s sooo annoying that Apple introduced this bug when it was working perfectly before iOS 13... Aaaaarrgghhh

Mine is same but opposite with volume. My volume goes to max every time I’m in my car. I get a really startling wake up alarm every morning. Can’t figure out what setting/app causes my car to max out my volumes

Cool. So it looks like it might just be a software fix. Hopefully we get a fix in 13.4

Still a problem. I keep sleeping through my alarms. It’s incredibly annoying.
