Where is the History menu. While I was away the favorites became large and I can't get them back to normal size

Where is the history menu. While I was gone the symbols for my favorite boozing sites became large. I want them back to normal size.

Safari browser Can the Favorites/Reading List/History bar that is always there to the left of Safari, in my iPad, be removed, not cleared? I have gone to my settings and don’t see anything there about this. Thank you,

Is it possible to change the size of the icon on your Favorites on Safari? A while ago there was an update that caused the Favorite icons to increase in size. When you click on the search bar, underneath it you have all of your saved Favorite sites. They used to be a tad smaller and I've been trying to find a way to get them back to their previous size without any success. I thought I would get used to it by now but I haven't. It bugs me a bit and I was hoping there was a solution.

If you are using Safari 13, what you are seeing is the new 'normal' and there isn't a way to revert the icons to their former size.
