IOS 13 update screenshots are blurry

after talking to Apple support and not getting much help, I tried testing different techniques. I realized that when I’m on cellular data 4g it sends blurry pictures, but when LTE is turned on it doesn’t! I also tested this with my friends iPhone 11 where he turned off LTE and used 4g to send pictures and I received them blurry. Hopefully this helps!

For once I have an answer!

Go to settings>messages>Low9quality image. Turn that off.

This should fix it.

I've had the same issue on iOS 13 with screenshots sending at super low resolutions. I've upgraded my girlfriend to the same, and her screenshots are just as blurry now, which wasn't an issue before the update.

One way I've gotten around it is to crop the screenshot just a little, and it sends clearly.

Go to settings-messages- scroll time the bottom and turn off Low quality image mode.

I’ve found if I crop my photo a tiny bit, it goes through clear. 👏🏼 Annoying, but it works!

I’ve had the same issue ever since I switched to an XR, and the only thing that works for me is to send the images one by one if I send them in a group, even if it’s just two photos, the recipient say they are blurry, if I send them one by one (which is very annoying), then they go through clear

I have these settings and the low quality image mode is switched off however I still receive blurry screenshots on iMessage from an iPhone XR to my iPhone 8. However, when the same is sent on Whatsapp is it absolutely clear.

Hi, I have the same issue.

this is a screen shot I sent to my mom. It ended up blurry on her side but clear on my side. It happens with every screen shot I send her since this new update.
