IOS 13 Battery Problem!!!!

I also found the similar issue, the interesting thing is that the battery meter. My battery health is 97% (iPhone SE). After upgrading to the IOS13 (13.1.2), the battery drains in funny patterns, it drains faster if it is in standby. It drains until 1% and that 1% can be kept for a long time even a day (without enabling the battery saving mode).

It sometimes drops from 20% down to <5% within 1 - 2 minutes, if I am surfing net with Safari. My phone is not modified, the battery was replaced by Apple a year ago, I use Web version most of the time if it is available rather than using app. I am not sure if it is battery meter bug or Apple changed something to the code again.

I found this behaviour on IOS13 only not IOS12.

Still experiencing the same issue on ios 13.1.3 - i would say it is draining a little less but my phone has been on 1% for 14 hours so far - making phone calls, using the camera etc. the problem is with the software not reading the battery properly rather than a battery issue - my battery health is at 94%. Is there a way we can report this to Apple? I don't feel like it is being acknowledged as an issue in the latest updates.

This is exactly the same problem as mine. Both my iPhone SE and iPhone 7 are having this issue right after upgrading to IOS 13.

I am not sure if Apple is trying to give people false positive on the battery usage to change people mind to buy a new iPhone :(

Agreed. iOS 13 (regardless of 13.1.1 or .2 or .3) battery life is a disaster. I have iPhone 7, 1 year old, 90% battery capacity.

The good news, for me at least, was I was able to ‘fix’ it via turning off ‘handoff’ (something I read on another post).

try it as follows:

settings

general

handoff

toggle to off.

I still assume this is a software problem because handoff was previously switched on on my iOS 12 and did not cause similar problems.

I had same issue and was convinced it was a problem with the update my phone battery was draining fast but then lasting 12 hours on 1%. I took my phone to the Apple store after doing diagnostics with web chat support. The Apple store advised I do a clean install, so I did a back up and factory reset my phone. This fixed it and then i restored from back up. After a long time banging my head agains the wall - it’s fixed!!

Check future iOS updates, they may fix this issue.

Unfortunately, you can't downgrade to iOS 12.

When did you update to iOS 13? Have you tried to force restart your iPhone after the update?

How old is your iPhone? What is your Battery Health?

i updated my iphone 7 plus from Ios 12.4 to 13.1 . After updating my phone my phone battery drains so fast now even battery health of my phone is 88%

Thanks! After factory reset and restored backup, the battery consumption is greatly reduced.
