Mickey Glove Cursor/pointer

For some reason, on my MacBook (I have Mojave for the OS), my cursor/pointer has changed into a mickey glove cursor/pointer.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this and go back to the normal pointer?

I'm guessing by "mickey glove" you mean the hand icon that has one finger pointing up (like what happens when you place cursor on a link on a web page)?

If this were my system I would try 1. logging out and back in ... if still a problem 2. a safe boot (hold shift key down during power on) and then a normal boot. If that doesn't solve problem, create a second account and login as that and see if problem is still there.

Let us know...

Good luck...

That is useless. Uninstall it according to the developer's instructions; How to uninstall the New Bitdefender Antivirus for Mac.

Download and run Etrecheck. Etrecheck is a diagnostic tool that was developed by one of the most respected users here in the ASC and recommended by Apple Support  to provide a snapshot of the system and help identify the more obvious culprits that can adversely affect a Mac's performance.

Copy the report

and use the Add Text button to include the report in your reply. How to use the Add Text Feature When Posting Large Amounts of Text, i.e. an Etrecheck Report

Before running Etrecheck assign Full Disk Access to Etrecheck so that it can get additional information from the Console and log files for the report:

Then we can examine the report and see if we can determine what's causing the problem..
