Can’t swipe to close apps
After the latest update when I double click the home button I can’t swipe left to close. How to fix?

Having this problem too! And the idea that I shouldn’t close these apps is not helpful at all. Pretty basic stuff.
Having the same issue, try turning on “reduce motion” in the accessibility action. This helped me.
How does that help with an issue for an Apple TV?
By the way, I managed to solve my issue after restarting it a couple of times.

Same. For those folks telling us how to do this, we know that. Clearly the recent software update has this bug.
Same issue. After the recent update swipe any direction to switch between apps or to close an app.
This was happening to me since the update too, but i went into settings and restarted it from there and after it booted back up it worked.

@AppleOps THIS IS EXACTLY THE PROBLEM. I’ve been dealing with it for the last 3 months. WHEN will the new OS with this bug fix be released? It is obnoxious to deal with.
