iPhone Migration literally taking hours to complete

In process of porting all my data from an iPh6s to iPhX over WiFi, via Quick Start transfer iPhone migration, but it has literally been over 6 hours and still not complete! Both phones are side by side, connected to power source and WiFi, just as instructed. My contacts and photos have all ported, but not my Notes, nor my added apps, etc. It's like the process reached a certain point and is stuck. My 6s screen shows "Transferring Data to iPhone..." It has had that screen for HOURS! Has anyone else had this issue?... and can you advise me on what to do next?
