Auto-text speak is off but my phone is still speaking when typing

Hello, I've recently updated my daughters phone and Auto-text speaks when you’re typing. We have followed the instructions of how to turn it off...

In Settings, choose General > Accessibility and tap the Speak Auto-text switch.

Everything is switched off but it is still speaking when you type. HELP....

Hi lou_louby,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! It's my understanding that your daughters phone is speaking out loud as she types. I can help.

When your iPhone speaks text out loud, this does relate back to Accessibility settings. It sounds like you did check the settings, but I would like you to confirm each related setting is indeed off: Hear iPhone speak the screen, selected text, and typing feedback - Apple Support.

Then, restart your daughters device: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support.

Reach back out if you need continued support.

Thank you.
