Where is the trash button in the new IOS 13.1.2 Update?

Where is the trash button in the new IOS 13.1.2 Update?

It's insane I have to go through 3 steps to trash my super active email. The archive button on the bottom right is absolutely obnoxious and placed in such a way I keep accidentally archiving emails which drives me nuts. It seems like there is all this space, where is the **** trash button?

If your email account is a Gmail account, follow these steps:

Go into Settings / Passwords & Accounts / Gmail account
Tap on the account (e.g. myname@gmail.com)
Tap on Advanced
Under Move Discarded Messages Into, tap on Deleted Mailbox
Tap on Account at the top left of screen
Tap on Done
Tap on Accounts
Close Settings
Close the Mail app if it was open
Reopen the Mail app and go to any of your Mailboxes, click Edit and then Select All and you should see at the bottom - Mark, Move, Trash (or Delete)

It's important to close out of Settings and the Mail app for the changes to take affect.

Settings, passwords & accounts, tap on the account, tap on the login ID, go to advanced. Set “move discarded messages into:” and choose trash mailbox instead of archive mailbox. The archive icon will be replaced with the trash icon instead.
