I have imported photos into Photos on iPad Pro - want to move one to an album which has already been created — the problem is that I can’t find out how to do it == in the pre 13 days there was a way to select a photo or photos and move it/them to an album [already in existence] but I can’t find the same thing in the new iOS...

Sorry— I figured it out— the dialog screen that pops up after you hit the arrow in the lower L corner actually scrolls and that’s where you can choose a number of things to do with the pics...I hadn’t known or remembered it could or would scroll.

Yes, the "Add to Album" has been moved to the "Share" menu. It is not very intuitive to hide it there.
And not obvious, that this menu needs scrolling.
