Warning From Apple re Phone

I just received a call claiming to be from Apple stating that my devices had been compromised and that I shouldn’t access any sites containing any of my personal financial information. It then said to press 1 to connect with Apple to get a fix.

Seems like a scam but thought I would check.

Received phone call that my Apple ID has been compromised. The message instructed me to call Apple support at a specific number? Is this legitimate or scam? I received a recorded message on my cell phone from Apple Support that my Apple ID has been compromised. The message instructed me to contact Apple Support a specified phone number. Is this legitimate or scam?

These notices are always a scam. Do not respond to it.
