How do you get the iPad to scan your pictures? Mine says 0 photos scanned, 3018 photos remaining. I have tried locking it and connecting to power to no avail.

Just updated iPad to iOS 13. How does it start scanning my photos? Thank you.

No, but for some reason it just started scanning. Thank you for your help. It looks like my problem is solved.
