"inactive" internet accounts

How do I permanently delete "inactive" internet accounts?

For the past several years, every time I sign into iCloud on my Mac, four "inactive" internet accounts show up in the internet accounts list (System Preferences<Internet Accounts). All four of these "inactive" accounts are old gmail accounts that I properly deleted through Google's system years ago. On my Mac , I searched my iCloud Keychain, but found no reference to any of those old gmail accounts. The only gmail account there is my current one.

Any help is appreciated :-)

Hello Steel Dragon,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities!

I understand from your post that you would like to remove an inactive account from the Internet Accounts settings. This article will provide you with the steps to remove an account under the heading, "Stop using an account", which you may find helpful:

if you delete the google account from the server permanently it will show google inactive in internet accounts , even you tap it and click on subtract sign , it will be removed temporarily but will appear after sometime .

Don't try to remove the old mail address from keychain access , you might corrupt the keychain , even you delete it will reappear in internet accounts .

May be if you erase the hard drive and reinstall os it might be removed and that is not sure .
