Catalina endless installation Hi, I've started to install Catalina to my Mini late 2014. This process is currently taking more than 13 hours. On screen I can see "calculating time". It shows 35, 9 or 45 minutes but there doesn’t seem to be any other progress. I tried advice that I found here (restart and pram reset) but after rebooting mini starts to install again Catalina. It also took 2 hours until now. Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks

Late 2012 iMac Catalina stalled install I started the update to Catalina yesterday afternoon and 22 hours later I am stuck at a "Estimating time remaining..." and a 3/4 progress bar from this AM. I hear it can be slow but this has not moved. Not sure if I should just let it go or if I need to intervene in the process. I do not want to lose it all even with a time machine back-up. Any thoughts?

Don't you just love the good stories...that sounds like a hip, hip, hoorah for Mark in Kentucky (Apple has some good and smart dudes helping us) 😎

Mine hung, then after about thirty minutes it tried to restart itself, several times, failing each time. I think I killed it.
