Sidecar color parity is awful for me, anyone know why?

Every image I've seen of sidecar being used, the images are identical, but the color parity is garbage for me and nothing I do fixes it.

Hey there NaterXander,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. I understand you’re seeing a difference in the color between your Mac and iPad when using Sidecar. I’ll be happy to help with this.

Do you have True Tone or Night Shift enabled on your Mac? If so turn these features off and see if this has any impact on the issue. You can use the following links to help you see if these are enabled and how to turn off:

Use True Tone on your Mac

How to use Night Shift on your Mac

Restart both your Mac and iPad if adjusting those features doesn’t resolve the issue for you.

Let us know if these steps help.

Cheers

See if this occurs in a test user account as well as safe mode. This could isolate the cause of this and possibly even resolve it. You can find out how to do both of these in the following links:

Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac

How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac

If the issue continues both a new user and safe mode, you’ll want to reach out to Apple Support using the following link to continue to look into this with you:
