Perhaps children & teenagers would have noticed that the solution has already been posted in this thread:
Glyran ~ In iOS 13.3: Settings > General > Keyboard > Memoji Stickers > Off
You can now remove Memoji stickers from your iPhone's emoji keyboard

tap the “recent” button twice - the little clock - and they will be hidden indefinitely unless you double-click the recents again. (Note: if you already have the recents open, just press the clock once)
I didn’t care for them either, hid them, and forgot they were on here until I saw this post. It works.
Also, set up a Memoji and they will all change to your face which may make this more attractive to you.
cheers! ☺️
it seems that the latest version lets you turn them off, finally!! If you go to settings/general/keyboard there is now a switch for Memojis.
at last there are no more purple and white unicorns annoying me every time I want to send a text with a 🙂 or ❤️.
as you say it seems Apple now focussed on teenagers rather than adults.
You can't.

No.
Even if they allowed us to move them all the way to the right of the screen, that would help. I will never use them, but at least I wouldn't have to see them.
I figure these new emojis sounded like a good idea to someone? Alas, it wasn't. And to give us no way to turn off, delete or move them, wasn't a good idea either.
I hate the new emojis too. They all have the same few emotions and i hate that they are the first thing I see in my emojis. Cone on apple. This is a stupid addition even for the younger generations using the iPhone. Been using since Apple 4, I am now on 8 and while Apple has done some stuff I didn’t like, this is the one I hate the most. Mainly because there is nothing we can do about it. WE pay for these phones, a lot of money. I should be able to delete anything if it doesn’t compromise the use of the phone.
Typing in all caps is considered shouting, and is rude. It is possible for others to read the same thought typed normally.
You can't turn them off individually because they're part of a single font of emojis.
You only proved my point - being ridiculously upset over a picture. Find something useful to direct that energy towards.
I hate the new emojis. Need to know how to get rid of them!!!!

Apple is already going crazy, we pay a lot of money for their stuff and they Don’t even allow us to choose what we want to use and what no. I have question for you guys, are you creating these options for your personal use or you do this for your costumers. The same thing with the drop down menu with wifi and bluetooth, i can’t switch off them from there and they are disturbing me in the morning. Give me the choice to choose how i want to use my personal phone.
My iPad keeps telling me that someone is trying to log on in London! I'm in Yorkshire. How does that come about? Now to reply - I should be able to delete emojis that I don't like. The new ones are awful. I also get sounds on my iPhone when I’ve switched off the sound, why is this, I wonder?
No problem. I have all email notifications turned off. You can always look to see what topics you're in that have new responses by clicking My Subscriptions towards the top right of any page. They'll be in bold text. I find no need to know this information ahead of time.
