Safari automatic reader mode

Using iOS 13.2.1, iPhone X, at some point in the last couple of weeks I have seen and set the safari to automatically use the reader view for all sites...


Since updating, i can’t disable it. I do not have the lines reader view option anymore.. this is what i see now..


now I see the Aa symbol. And when I long press nothing happens.. regular press gets this screen


nothing in here allows for a long press, so I press through to website settings



in here, 'use reader automatically' is always highlighted and while I can disable for that one page/site.. I have no option to make it stop using the reader view automatically..


please help me.. I thought it might be a neat feature but I don’t like it and it won’t go away..

Hi kitskorner,


It sounds like you're trying to turn off Reader, and I want to help.


Go to Settings > Safari > Reader. Here turn off the function for All Websites.
