Hi, so I updated my MacBook Pro to Catalina and it works fine. I tried out sidecar with my iPad 11" Pro and it works, I can click on the modifier buttons on the side. I can't seem to be able to use my finger or Apple Pencil to interact with the mirrored screen however. Am I missing something? How can I get it to allow me to open applications, close, scroll etc. all from the iPad screen only?

Try the following on macOS Catalina:
For me this setting solved the issue with the not working apple pencil together with sidecar.

If you search "Pencil Sidecar" a bunch of us with same exact problem comes up. I spent yesterday in chat and then via phone with Apple specialists and they do not know how to fix it yet. I am supposed to be receiving a call back today. I will update if anything gets resolved
Does sidecar work with iPad mini 2?
